Transitional Bathrooms
An expansive bath was given special consideration in this beautiful Houston estate. A circular raised area houses the Jacuzzi bath and open air shower. A polished pebble floor was paired with Durango travertine and multicolored glass tiles. Oil-rubbed bronze hardware, an iron chandelier and unique accessories complete this elegant look.
With a stone bowl inset on a rustic wood and iron cabinet this powder room continues the theme of the Senora desert home. Textured framed mirror and an oil-rubbed bronze faucet set showcase additional features seen throughout the other bathrooms.
The color and nature-themed art were inspired by the outdoor eucalyptus grove. The mosaic granite and marble floor and vibrant green back-painted glass panels form a crisp, classic backdrop for sculptural elements like the minimalist water closet. Photograph by Matthew Millman.
Light stone and wood tones keep the space neutral and airy as not to compete with the spectacular view enjoyed best from the perfectly situated bathtub. Shower is for two, there is a unique cantilevered vanity and a wall mounted flat screen TV. Photography by Scott Mayoral
